James Zak, who prefers to go by Zak, is an enigma.

A thrice graduate of the University of Minnesota, Zak holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and BS in Biochemistry with a minor in psychology as well as a Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School, with significant additional coursework in Pharmacology at the University of Minnesota Medical School.

Zak enjoys woodworking and is an avid video gamer.

He is a member of the Minnesota Bar and is a licensed patent attorney.
