Manufacturer Representative

Arobella Medical leads the way in design, manufacture and distribution of state-of-the-art medical ultrasound devices and is looking for highly motivated Independent Manufacturer Representatives throughout the United States.

A minimum of one week detailed training is provided on our product(s) and Ultrasound. Ongoing education is gained in the field with regular performance evaluations. Work is to be performed in the field and from your home.

You will be working with our support team, doctors, nurses and physical therapists, and training in hospitals and outpatient clinics to ensure proper use of our device(s) resulting in optimum outcomes.

Qualified personnel will have these qualifications:

  • Extensive wound care experience, specifically regarding
    1. Pressure Ulcers
    2. Venous Insufficiency Ulcers
    3. Diabetic Foot Ulcers
    4. Arterial Wounds
    5. Compromised Surgical Wounds
    6. Burns
    7. Osteomyelitis
    8. Fistulas
    9. Infected, Eczematous, Ulcerated or Devitalized Skin
  • 5 Years medical sales (preferrably capital sales)
  • Efficient time management

Mechanical Engineer I

This position is responsible for design and drafting of of mechanical parts, component selection, assemblies, subsystems, and systems for use in electro-mechanical medical devices. The candidate should be familiar with part design and manufacture including molding, machining, forming, and other fabrication and/or finish processes. Preference for those with experience in development of medical devices in compliance with U.S. FDA medical device regulations, International Standards Organization (ISO) quality, other voluntary standards, and company / departmental procedures. The candidate should also be familiar with document control, change order process, CAPA process, process documentation, and verification & validation procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical design & layout using 3D solid modeling with Pro/E Wildfire, SolidWorks, or similar software.
  • Assemble and test parts, components, assemblies, subsystems, and systems for use in electro-mechanical medical devices.
  • Use calipers, pin gauges, multi-meter, and other measurement/test equipment, as necessary.
  • Diagnose cause of malfunction or failure of operational assemblies, subsystems, and systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Read drawings and layouts, and interpret/determine dimensional & geometric tolerancing.
  • Define, draft, and execute test plans, protocols, and procedures.
  • Comply with quality system and document management requirements & procedures.
  • Work with the project team and cross-functional team as required.

Relationships

  • Interacts on a regular basis with team members.

Qualifications (Education/Experience/Skills/Knowledge)

  • Required
    • Four year engineering degree or equivalent with a minimum of 1-3 years experience.
    • Prefer medical device experience with regulated development environment.
    • Must have basic understanding of mechanical parts, assemblies, and mechanisms, be able to read drawings/layouts, be able to troubleshoot/diagnose problems, and be able to interconnect multiple control components from diagrams.
    • Knowledge of safety, mechanical and mechanism theory, process control, measurement instrumentation, and CAD design & layout experience (Pro/E Wildfire, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
    • Must have experience in fabrication, assembly, and/or integration of systems within a specific project.
